A Little About Us

We are the Bland Family Southern Gospel Music Ministry, a family ministry centered around our love for the Lord, our love for one another, and our desire to share the Gospel through music and the Word of God. Our family consists of Stuart (Dad), Michelle (Mom), and our three sons, Westley, Jordan, and Adam. Our family continues to grow, and we are so thankful for each blessing God has added along the way. Westley and his wife, Jessica, have two beautiful daughters, Ella (9) and Sophia (6). Jordan and his wife, Morgan, have one daughter, Maggie (8), and two sons, Micah (2) and Oliver, who is due to arrive very soon. We are also excited to celebrate another wonderful blessing as Adam and his fiancée, Taylor, are engaged to be married on May 22, 2027. Growing up in a musical family, we always joked with the boys that they could only marry girls who either played an instrument or sang. Apparently, God didn't take that as a joke! He answered our prayers by giving each of our sons godly women who love the Lord—and He added the wonderful blessing that they are all very talented musicians and singers as well. Music has been a part of our family for many years. Stuart and Michelle have been married for 34 years, and we began singing together in churches even before we were married. Westley and Jordan started singing at the young ages of 5 and 3. Adam made his stage debut when he was only 8 days old and has been singing ever since he could talk! Today, ministry is a very important part of our family’s life. Stuart is an ordained minister, Jordan is licensed into ministry, Westley serves as a music minister, and Adam serves as our church audio and video engineer. Each of them plays an important role in Sunday morning services, which generally prevents our family from traveling and singing on Sunday mornings. However, we absolutely love every opportunity God gives us to minister through the Word or through song from Sunday afternoon through Saturday night. It is a blessing and a privilege for our entire family to serve the Lord together wherever He opens the door. God has been incredibly good to the Bland family, and we simply want to give a little back to Him in service for all He has done for us. Our desire is not to draw attention to ourselves, but to point people to Jesus Christ. It is our heart's desire to shine the light of Christ everywhere we go, so that the lost may be saved and the saved may be encouraged and blessed. We count it a privilege to serve the Lord together as a family, and we look forward to seeing what He has in store for the Bland Family Southern Gospel Music Ministry in the days ahead.
